CHARBONE HYDROGEN CORPORATION has announced a strategic collaboration with ABB to develop multiple green hydrogen production facilities in North America. The partnership aims to establish up to 15 modular and scalable green hydrogen production units over the next five years, catering to existing hydrogen users and heavy industrial processes. ABB will serve as the preferred supplier for electrical substations, focusing on enhancing energy efficiency and reliability across Charbone's projects. The flagship Sorel-Tracy facility in Québec will be a key site, with plans to connect to the Hydro-Québec grid using hydro electricity.
