Armenia's Ministry of Economy, in cooperation with Germany, is working on a project for the production of 'green' hydrogen, as announced by Minister Vahan Kerobyan. The initiative is backed by a study conducted by the German Economic Team, which aimed to evaluate Armenia's potential in the hydrogen sector. Following this assessment and additional studies, a comprehensive project will be presented to the Armenian government by the end of the year. Upon approval, the ministry plans to engage in discussions with international partners to commence hydrogen production. The collaboration with Germany, evidenced by a joint press conference in Yerevan, highlights a positive step towards embracing renewable energy sources and fostering economic partnerships in Armenia's sustainability efforts.
