Construction has commenced on a cutting-edge hydrogen information centre in Gladstone, Australia, reinforcing the city's position as a Hydrogen Hub. The partnership between CQUniversity and the Miles Government aims to educate the public about the hydrogen industry, set to become a significant local employer. The centre, located at the Gladstone Marina Campus, will showcase the production and uses of renewable hydrogen, supporting over 20 projects in Central Queensland. Additionally, Stanwell Corporation is funding the establishment of a Professorial Chair of Hydrogen at CQU, emphasizing applied research to advance the hydrogen sector. Minister Mick de Brenni and Member for Gladstone Glenn Butcher MP highlighted the economic and job opportunities brought by the renewable energy focus.
