Linde, a global industrial gases and engineering company, has announced a significant agreement to supply clean hydrogen to Dow's Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zero Project in Alberta, Canada. With an investment exceeding $2 billion, Linde will construct a world-scale integrated clean hydrogen and atmospheric gases facility. The new complex will utilize autothermal reforming and Linde's proprietary carbon capture technology to produce clean hydrogen, supporting Dow's ambitious net-zero emissions goals for its ethylene cracker and derivatives site. Furthermore, the facility will provide clean hydrogen to other industrial customers aiming to decarbonize their operations. Upon completion in 2028, Linde's Alberta complex will stand as the largest clean hydrogen production facility in Canada and one of the largest globally, with a substantial annual carbon dioxide capture capacity.
