NTPC, a major state-run power company in India, announced that it achieved a significant milestone by generating 400 Billion Units (BU) of power on March 1, 2025, marking its fastest-ever generation achievement. This milestone was reached in just 335 days, 12 days earlier than the previous financial year. With an installed capacity of over 77 GW and an additional 29.5 GW under construction, including 9.6 GW in renewable energy, NTPC plays a crucial role in meeting India's power needs.
