Hydrexia Borneo Sdn Bhd and ICE SEDCE Hydrogen Sdn Bhd have signed a Heads of Agreement (HOA) to establish a joint venture aimed at developing, operating, and maintaining hydrogen refueling stations (HRS) and hydrogen storage solutions in Malaysia. This collaboration is part of the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) project's first phase, focusing on the Rembus depot. The joint venture intends to implement initiatives in phases, exploring business opportunities and leveraging Hydrexia's expertise and technologies in this field. The CEO of Hydrexia Southeast Asia, George Gan, expressed enthusiasm about working with ISHSB, a trusted local partner, to penetrate the Malaysian hydrogen market effectively. This joint venture marks a strategic move to utilize Hydrexia's hydrogen technology solutions to meet the region's demands. Similarly, Abdul Jalil Maraicar, Group Managing Director of ICE Petroleum representing ISHSB, conveyed optimism about the partnership, emphasizing the joint efforts to address the market's needs.
