Lhyfe, a leading European player in green and renewable hydrogen production, has secured a new grant from Klimatklivet to establish a state-of-the-art renewable hydrogen production facility in Vaggeryd, Sweden. With a capacity of 10 MW, the facility is expected to generate up to 4.4 tons of green hydrogen per day, catering to the increasing demand from both mobility and industrial sectors. Situated strategically in southern Sweden, the plant will play a crucial role in supplying hydrogen to refueling stations along major transport routes, facilitating the transition to hydrogen-powered vehicles in the region. This investment marks a significant milestone in Lhyfe's mission to contribute to the net-zero emissions goal. By utilizing renewable electricity for water electrolysis, Lhyfe aims to meet market demands and support the competitiveness of Swedish industry. Additionally, the waste heat produced during the hydrogen production process will be utilized in the local district heating network in Vaggeryd, enhancing energy efficiency.
