In a collaborative effort, the UK Government, Energy department, Government of Odisha, and GRIDCO organized a high-level workshop in Bhubaneswar to discuss the city's transition towards a Net-Zero future. The workshop aimed to foster multi-stakeholder collaboration and outline a strategic roadmap for sustainable urban development. Key stakeholders gathered to develop a plan aligning with India's national Net-Zero commitment and Odisha's renewable energy targets. Speakers emphasized clean energy transition, decarbonization of the transportation sector, and the deployment of EV and Hydrogen buses. The event focused on sustainable urban mobility solutions, policy frameworks, technology adoption, and financing mechanisms to support Bhubaneswar's Net-Zero journey.
