Hyundai Motor and Skoda Electric have joined forces in a partnership aimed at developing technologies for future hydrogen-powered vehicles in the Czech Republic. The agreement, signed in Prague, involves cooperation in the production and supply of hydrogen systems to enhance the development of environmentally friendly vehicles. Skoda Electric, known for its expertise in producing eclectic and hydrogen-powered buses, as well as electric drives and traction motors, brings valuable experience to the collaboration. Hyundai Motor, a key player in the hydrogen vehicle market, has a significant market share and a successful track record in hydrogen vehicle production. The partnership seeks to further hydrogen adoption globally and aligns with the Czech Republic's ambitious targets for clean mobility, including the sale of up to 50,000 hydrogen vehicles by 2030. Hyundai's commitment to advancing hydrogen technology is highlighted by its mass production of hydrogen-powered trucks and the introduction of the HTWO grid at CES 2024.
