EnerMech has been selected as the integrated service contract supplier for ExxonMobil's new low sulfur diesel facility at the Fawley Petrochemical Complex in Hampshire, UK. The project at the UK's biggest integrated complex aims to reduce the country's dependence on diesel imports and potentially facilitate the production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). By increasing output by 38,000 barrels per day, this endeavor is crucial for enhancing the local fuel production landscape. EnerMech's team of project managers, engineers, and personnel will oversee the construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up services for various essential components such as the hydrogen plant, diesel storage tank, and other systems involved. Their use of the innovative SIMPro software ensures an efficient and traceable integrity management system to handle tasks like bolt torque/tensioning, camera inspection, and hydro-testing. Chuck Davison, EnerMech's CEO, highlighted the significance of this partnership, emphasizing the organization's involvement in a hydrogen system for the first time.
