Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL), a part of the Adani Group, has recently announced the acquisition of a significant power transmission project in Gujarat, specifically in Mundra. This project aims to facilitate the production of Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia in the region. Valued at Rs 2,800 crore, the project focuses on enhancing the electrical substation in Mundra through the installation of two 765/400kV transformers. Additionally, a 75 km 765kV double-circuit line will be constructed to connect to the Bhuj substation, thereby expanding AESL's transmission infrastructure. The project, awarded through a competitive bidding process, adds 150 cKM of lines and 3,000 MVA transformation capacity, contributing to AESL's total network of 25,928 cKM and transformation capacity of 87,186 MVA. This initiative not only increases AESL's orderbook significantly but also reinforces their commitment to advancing energy delivery by integrating more green power and expanding distribution networks.
