India's first hydrogen valley project is on the horizon as Gensol Engineering and Matrix Gas & Renewables Limited join forces to establish a groundbreaking initiative in Pune. The project, announced through a BSE filing, will see the construction of a green hydrogen production plant on a Build, Own, and Operate basis, with support from the National Chemicals Laboratories. Anmol Jaggi, Managing Director of Gensol Engineering, highlighted the significance of the government's push towards Hydrogen Valleys through the Department of Science & Technology, emphasizing the supply of green hydrogen to Pune's specialty chemical sector.
