Furthermore, regulatory bodies like the Delhi and Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commissions have introduced guidelines and regulations to advance the renewable energy sector. The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission's Peer to Peer Energy Transaction Guidelines aim to encourage the use of renewable energy and provide additional income opportunities for prosumers. Similarly, the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission has issued regulations to ensure resource adequacy for electricity loads by planning generation and transmission resources effectively. Overall, these legal and policy updates reflect a positive and proactive approach towards energy transition and sustainability in India, particularly in the context of promoting green hydrogen and renewable energy sources.
