The teams are tasked with designing and building ultra-energy efficient vehicles in Prototype and Urban Concept categories, focusing on innovative designs to reduce resistance and maximize efficiency. Participants can opt for battery-electric, hydrogen fuel cell, or internal combustion engine energy sources. Teams like UMindanao Wildcats, Cardinal One, Eco Archers, Team Kasalag, and Team Siklab have passed the technical inspection, preparing to showcase their energy efficiency innovations. In addition to the main competition, the event features programs such as Shell LiveWIRE, Shell NXplorers, and Shell Indonesia Women’s Network, promoting entrepreneurship, education, and women's empowerment.
