A high-level delegation from Korean energy companies, led by Sung Soo Kim Su, visited the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) to explore the authority's progress in the clean and renewable energy sector. The group toured DEWA's Sustainability and Innovation Centre and Research and Development (R&D) Centre at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, aiming for a production capacity exceeding 5,000 megawatts by 2030. DEWA officials showcased the Green Hydrogen project, using solar power to produce hydrogen and featuring a storage tank for up to 12 hours. The facility supports hydrogen applications in energy production and mobility. The Korean delegation praised DEWA for its innovative efforts and accomplishments in advancing renewable and clean energy practices. DEWA's Sustainability and Innovation Centre was highlighted as a global hub for clean energy technology innovation, offering a glimpse into the latest developments in the sector.
