The company, with over 50 years of experience, is now venturing into developing floating infrastructure for hydrogen and ammonia imports, as well as carbon transport and storage (CCS). The new focus aligns with the growing demand for clean energy solutions as the world transitions towards a more sustainable energy mix. Höegh Evi is actively working on marine infrastructure projects like floating ammonia and hydrogen import terminals, ammonia cracking technology, and CCS initiatives, showcasing its commitment to innovative solutions. In a recent partnership with Deutsche ReGas, Höegh Evi is set to develop the world's first floating green ammonia cracker, producing hydrogen for the hydrogen core network.
