Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s Sustainability and Innovation Centre is gearing up to host the second cycle of the CleanTech Innovators Exhibition from February 24 to 26, 2025, as part of its involvement in ‘UAE Innovates 2025’. The event's focus is on presenting advanced technologies and solutions that support a sustainable future, alongside specialized seminars featuring local and international experts. Noteworthy areas of discussion will include green hydrogen, sustainability, AI, solar power, and energy storage technologies, all pivotal in addressing climate change and advancing towards a low-carbon economy. DEWA's leadership, including Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer and Waleed bin Salman, have emphasized the crucial role of the exhibition in solidifying Dubai and the UAE as global innovation hubs. They stressed the importance of collaboration between various stakeholders to realize the country's net-zero goals and energy transition objectives. The Sustainability and Innovation Centre will also host activities like the CleanTech Connect Programme and CleanTech Hackathon to encourage collaboration and drive innovation in the clean energy sector.
