The Green Hydrogen Oman Summit 2025 is set to take place at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat from 18-20 December 2025, with support from the Ministry of Energy and Minerals and Hydrom. The summit, organized by Birba, aims to showcase Oman's commitment to sustainable energy solutions and its role in the global green hydrogen revolution. By bringing together industry pioneers, policymakers, and investors, the event will explore the vast potential of green hydrogen in shaping the future of energy. GHSO 2025 will feature a strategic conference, an exhibition, and highlight projects and investments driving Oman's hydrogen economy forward, emphasizing collaboration and investment among government and industry stakeholders. With a focus on local content development, green financing, job creation, and research and development, the summit offers opportunities for businesses, investors, and innovators to participate in Oman's clean energy journey. Dr. Firas Al Abduwani of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals highlighted the summit's role in convening international stakeholders to address challenges and opportunities in the clean hydrogen industry. Eng. Abdulaziz Al Shidhani of Hydrom emphasized the significant opportunities in green hydrogen production, infrastructure development, and financing that GHSO 2025 will unlock, contributing to Oman's clean energy transformation. Hydrom's successful auctions have already attracted commitments from international developers to produce 1.38 million tonnes per annum of green hydrogen by 2030, with plans for a third auction round in Q2 2025 to further boost green hydrogen production in Oman.
