An energy deal between the US and India focused on natural gas and oil imports, raising discussions about the coexistence of hydrocarbons and green hydrogen in India's energy mix. The event also featured panel discussions on scaling the green ammonia value chain, underscoring the importance of securing demand and focusing on practical applications for green ammonia and hydrogen. Ranjit Gupta of Ocior Energy noted that while Europe is a key market, near-term opportunities may be more favorable in India and the east due to cost structures and policy support.
