Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced India's National Green Hydrogen Mission during his visit to Visakhapatnam, highlighting the country's goal of producing 5 million tons of green hydrogen annually by 2030. Two green hydrogen hubs will be established, with one located in Visakhapatnam. The joint green energy initiative between NTPC Green Energy Ltd and NREDCAP is set to boost green hydrogen production. Additionally, projects like the Krishnapatnam industrial hub and the bulk drug park in Nakkapalli are poised to drive economic growth and job creation in the region. The presence of AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan at the event underscored the significance of these developments for the state.
