NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) in Saudi Arabia has unveiled plans for its second major recruitment drive in 2025, with a Virtual Career Fair set to take place on April 18 and 19. The focus is on attracting top talent for the Operations & Maintenance team responsible for running the world's largest green hydrogen plant located in NEOM. The joint venture between ACWA Power, Air Products, and NEOM is a key player in the global energy transition, particularly in decarbonising challenging sectors like heavy industry and transportation. NGHC is dedicated to developing a highly skilled workforce in Saudi Arabia, bolstered by international expertise, to ensure the successful operation of the green hydrogen plant. By collaborating with local educational institutions, NGHC aims to equip Saudi youth with the necessary skills to thrive in the green hydrogen and renewable energy industry. The CEO of NGHC, Wesam Alghamdi, emphasized the significance of recruiting top talent to support the operational excellence of the green hydrogen plant. The plant is expected to produce 600 tonnes of carbon-free hydrogen daily by the end of 2026, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 and the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative. The Virtual Career Fair will offer interested candidates a platform to engage directly with NGHC's team and learn about career opportunities within the Operations & Maintenance team. This initiative showcases the company's commitment to sustainability and clean energy, positioning Saudi Arabia as a frontrunner in the global green energy landscape.
