Waaree Group has commenced the construction of an alkaline electrolyser manufacturing plant in Gujarat, India, with an initial capacity of 300MW. The electrolysis technology is designed to be energy-efficient, flexible, and high-performing, requiring minimal upkeep. This initiative aligns with the Government of India's Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) scheme, granting Waaree a Production Linked Incentive (PLI) for electrolyser production and green hydrogen generation.
