Cyient, a global engineering solutions firm, has joined forces with GreenH and Luxcara to facilitate the establishment of a green hydrogen facility in Bodø, Norway. Located at Langstranda, the project is part of a joint venture between GreenH, a specialist in green hydrogen infrastructure, and Luxcara, known for backing large-scale clean energy projects across Europe. This initiative aligns with Norway's commitment to transitioning towards cleaner fuels for maritime and heavy transport sectors. The facility will supply green hydrogen to Torghatten Nord AS for its Vestfjorden ferry operations, marking a significant step in the country's efforts towards maritime decarbonization. Cyient's role in the project involves providing comprehensive engineering support, encompassing owner's engineering and detailed plant design. Drawing on its expertise in renewable energy systems, particularly hydrogen-based solutions, Cyient aims to ensure the timely and efficient completion of the Bodø facility.
