Gentari, a clean energy solutions provider, has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement with AMG Ammonia in India to supply 650 MW of round-the-clock carbon-free energy to power the upcoming green ammonia facilities. This agreement includes the setup of approximately 2400 MWp of renewable energy capacity, encompassing solar and wind sources, along with 350 MW / 2100 MWh energy storage to ensure firm and dispatchable green power supply. The project will be executed in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. The unique feature of this arrangement is the ability to meet the green ammonia plant's strict energy requirements on an hourly basis, setting a new standard for carbon-free energy contracts. Gentari's integrated approach covers the entire clean energy value chain, from generating green electrons to producing green molecules, aligning with the Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin framework. This partnership is crucial for AMG Ammonia's goal of achieving 5 million tons of green ammonia output by 2030, supporting India's green hydrogen production targets and Europe's green hydrogen import goals. The collaboration also involves developing supply chains to connect green molecules with global demand centers and enhancing downstream solutions for efficient delivery. This project signifies a significant milestone for Gentari, showcasing its leadership in the renewable energy sector and its commitment to sustainable growth.
