Hyundai Motor Group has announced its action plans to establish a waste-to-hydrogen (W2H) ecosystem in West Java Province, Indonesia, during the Global Hydrogen Ecosystem Summit held in Jakarta. The initiative involves collaborating with Pertamina and the government ministries to build an on-site hydrogen refueling station by 2027. The station will utilize low-carbon hydrogen produced from biogas at the Sarimukti landfill near Bandung.
