HRS, a French designer and manufacturer of hydrogen refueling stations, has announced its entry into the Portuguese market with the first order for an HRS14 hydrogen station from HYCHEM, a prominent player in green hydrogen production in Portugal. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for HRS, strengthening its presence in Portugal and highlighting its commitment to expanding internationally. The HRS14 station will be installed at HyChem's industrial site near Lisbon, in Póvoa de Santa Iria, to cater to refueling needs for cars and heavy vehicles, both for public and private use. Portugal, known for its dynamic hydrogen development initiatives, has set ambitious targets for the production and distribution of green hydrogen, aiming to invest 7 billion euros by 2030, a portion of which will go towards establishing a network of 100 hydrogen stations.
