ACME Cryogenics, a part of OPW Clean Energy Solutions, has announced the addition of XL Bore Vacuum-Jacketed Piping (VJP) to its portfolio of cryogenics-handling products. The new XL Bore VJP has been specifically designed to outperform typical foam-insulated piping by maintaining the extremely cold temperature of cryogenic liquids, preventing leaks, and enabling high-volume transfers of liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquid hydrogen (LH2), liquid oxygen (LOX), carbon dioxide (CO2), and helium. The Director of Technical Sales and Installation Services for ACME Cryogenics, Bennett Allred, highlighted the importance of maintaining the integrity of cryogenics-handling processes while meeting industry standards for safety, reliability, and cost-effective performance. The XL Bore VJP systems come in various sizes, with the new XL sizes offering superior insulation performance and operational efficiencies. These systems are shipped in 40-foot spools and provide benefits such as higher flow rates, enhanced cooling efficiency, minimized heat leaks, superior performance, and full customizability for different cryogenic-liquid handling applications. The XL Bore VJP systems are engineered for maintenance-free operation for over 20 years, positioning them as a long-term, cost-effective solution for cryogenic liquid handling.
