ZeroAvia has reached a significant milestone by finalizing the first sale of its 600kW electric propulsion system to Jetcruzer International. This deal aims to power the development of the Jetcruzer 500E, an innovative six-seat hydrogen-electric aircraft, with delivery anticipated in spring for electric flight testing. The collaboration highlights ZeroAvia's commitment to vertical integration in developing full powertrain technology. Additionally, ZeroAvia's newly established Propulsion Center of Excellence in Everett, WA, will manufacture electric propulsion systems not only for its own hydrogen-electric powertrains but also for aircraft OEMs like Jetcruzer International. Jetcruzer International's vision for the future of sustainable aviation is reflected in the Jetcruzer 500E project, set to pioneer the field of clean aviation solutions. With plans for an entry-into-service target of 2028 for the Jetcruzer 500E and the 1250E in 2030, the company emphasizes reducing carbon emissions while maintaining performance and efficiency.
