Al-Ahsa Governor Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr inaugurated the trial run of Saudi Arabia's first hydrogen-powered bus, connecting Dammam with Al-Ahsa in a daily 359-kilometer service operated by SATCO. The bus can travel up to 635 kilometers on a single charge, accommodating 45 passengers. The event, attended by Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics Dr. Rumaih Al-Rumaih, highlighted the bus's eco-friendly features, safety standards, and contribution to reducing carbon emissions. Prince Saud emphasized the importance of this launch in advancing Saudi Vision 2030's environmental sustainability goals.
