Delegates from the UK Parliament recently visited Sarawak and commended the state's uniqueness while expressing interest in collaborating in various fields, particularly renewable energy such as green energy and hydrogen. Led by Sir Lindsay Hoyle, the delegation met with Sarawak Governor Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar to discuss strengthening legislative relations and the historical friendship between Malaysia and the UK. The delegation also included Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sarawak Regional Office director, Fenny Nuli. The visit aimed to explore opportunities for cooperation, highlighting the beauty and distinctiveness of Sarawak. Sir Lindsay Hoyle emphasized the close diplomatic ties and shared parliamentary democracy between Malaysia and the UK, underscoring the potential for partnerships in the renewable energy sector.
