The Extreme H series, successor to Extreme E, has unveiled its first hydrogen race car in London, marking a significant shift towards green technology and climate awareness. This change allows races to be held in locations closer to major deployment regions like Europe and the U.S. The upcoming 10-round 2025 calendar includes races in Saudi Arabia, Europe, and the United States, featuring top motorsport figures like Jenson Button, Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton, and Jimmie Johnson. The series' principal partner is the Saudi investment fund PIF, with Red Bull joining as a sponsor.
