This move makes Walmart Canada the first major retailer in the country to incorporate a hydrogen-powered vehicle. The Nikola Hydrogen Fuel Cell EV Class 8 tractor boasts a range of 800 kilometers and can eliminate 97 metric tons of CO2 tailpipe emissions annually, showcasing the environmental benefits of hydrogen adoption. By embracing hydrogen technology, Walmart Canada aims to extend the range of its fleet's electric options, enabling longer-haul travel with zero emissions.
