Osaka Gas Co., Ltd. is embarking on a partnership with Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd. to undertake renewable energy projects in India. Through the establishment of a joint venture company named Clean Max Osaka Gas Renewable Energy Pvt. Ltd. (CORE), the entities plan to develop and own around 400 megawatts of renewable energy assets over the next three years. CORE will focus on engaging commercial and industrial clients through power purchase agreements to provide clean energy via the grid, thus marking the entry of Daigas Group into India's renewable energy market. Moreover, Osaka Gas intends to further expand its collaboration with Clean Max by venturing into new energy segments such as green hydrogen and e-methane. This initiative signifies a significant step towards sustainable energy development and highlights the growing interest of international players in India's renewable energy sector.
