StormFisher Hydrogen has secured a US$50 million commitment from Hy24's Clean Hydrogen Infrastructure Fund to accelerate its clean fuel production projects in North America. This investment will drive the deployment of several facilities in the U.S. and Canada, with a renewable capacity of up to 1.8 GW by 2030. Through Hy24's Clean Hydrogen Infrastructure Fund, StormFisher Hydrogen aims to reach final investment decisions (FID) and transition to low carbon energy solutions, while also expanding its clean fuel exports to European and Asian markets. The collaboration between the two companies is expected to enhance energy security, economic growth, and America's leadership in the energy sector. StormFisher's projects, focusing on e-Fuels like green hydrogen, e-Methanol, green ammonia, and e-Methane, will play a crucial role in decarbonizing industries such as maritime, aviation, and chemicals. With a strong emphasis on job creation, the company plans to create approximately 50 permanent high-quality, full-time jobs per site, contributing to local communities and reinforcing the U.S. as a significant supplier of low-carbon fuels globally. This strategic partnership signifies a positive step towards advancing clean fuel projects, strengthening the country's energy resilience and independence, and promoting sustainable practices in the North American energy market.
