Hygreen Energy, an electrolyzer manufacturer, and Coxabengoa, a water and energy utility, have announced a strategic agreement to boost hydrogen development in Europe. The collaboration involves expanding the European market for electrolyzer solutions and increasing production capacity to accelerate hydrogen project development in the region. The agreement was signed in the presence of Juanma Moreno, President of the Junta de Andalucía, and Enrique Riquelme, Executive President of Coxabengoa, at Hygreen Energy's office in Beijing. The Andalusia government supports this initiative, aiming to create a European industrial platform for the development of hydrogen technologies and supply systems from Spain. Javier Romero, Board Director at Hygreen Energy, highlighted the long-term benefits for both companies and the Andalusia region, positioning it as a leader in the green hydrogen sector. Enrique Riquelme of Coxabengoa emphasized the strategic importance of the alliance for advancing innovative technologies and global market synergies.
