Mitsui E&S has received an order for a VD4-250GH-OL high-pressure, high-flow hydrogen compressor from TSUNEISHI CORPORATION for use in Japan's first offshore hydrogen station being built by JPN H2YDRO CO., LTD. The compressor is part of the Nippon Foundation Zero Emission Ships Project to achieve carbon neutrality in the shipping sector. With a focus on longevity, stability, and minimal downtime, the compressor is equipped with advanced technologies for high-pressure hydrogen compression. It is designed to compress hydrogen up to 50 MPa at a flow rate of 100 kg/h, while being compact and space-saving compared to existing models. Mitsui E&S, with its extensive experience in compressor manufacturing, aims to contribute to a decarbonized society by supplying compressors for hydrogen stations, hydrogen production equipment, and SAF plants.
