Recent interactions with prominent industry figures like JSW Group's Sajjan Jindal, Welspun World's BK Goenka, and Essar Group's Ravi Ruia focused on exploring collaborations in various sectors including textiles, energy, water treatment, and renewable energy. The Assam Startup and Innovation Policy, aiming to promote entrepreneurship and create job opportunities, received approval as part of the state's initiative to boost startups and major investments. The upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit, scheduled for February 25-26 in Guwahati, is expected to further showcase Assam's potential in the green energy domain. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend the summit as the chief guest, underscoring the government's commitment to promoting sustainable and renewable energy initiatives in Assam.
