Cyient, an intelligent engineering solutions company, has secured a contract to assist GreenH Bodø in the development of a hydrogen production and distribution facility in Langstranda, Bodø, Norway. This project, undertaken in collaboration with Luxcara, aims to support Norway's renewable energy ambitions by providing green hydrogen to the maritime sector and heavy transport industries. The facility will fuel Vestfjorden ferries under a long-term agreement with Torghatten Nord AS. Cyient's role includes providing owner's engineering and detailed plant engineering services to optimize project delivery. GreenH's COO, Espen Lied, expressed excitement about the partnership with Cyient and the potential for the hydrogen plant. Cyient Norway's Managing Director, Espen Berg, highlighted the importance of clean hydrogen in the energy transition and expressed confidence in the success of the project. This initiative signifies a significant milestone in the development of green hydrogen infrastructure for sustainable energy solutions.
