India Energy Week (IEW) 2025, organized by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry, took place in New Delhi from February 11 to 14, 2025. The event highlighted India's role in driving global energy innovation and collaboration for a sustainable future. With a focus on energy transition, exploration & production reforms, India-US energy cooperation, and global energy investments, the conference showcased cutting-edge technologies and facilitated networking opportunities. IEW 2025 introduced nine thematic zones, including hydrogen, biofuels, renewable energy, LNG ecosystem, Make in India, city gas distribution, petrochem, innovation, and digitalization. India, under PM Narendra Modi's leadership, is committed to sustainable energy solutions and aims to achieve ambitious targets like producing 5 million metric tons of green hydrogen annually by 2030. The nation also pledged significant actions towards climate change with initiatives like 'Panchamrit' outlining key goals for renewable energy capacity, carbon intensity reduction, net-zero target, and carbon emissions reduction. The event served as a platform for global energy stakeholders to exchange ideas, drive partnerships, and witness India's leadership in energy transition and innovation, positioning the country at the forefront of a sustainable future.
