The tender requires interested parties to submit bids by January 13, 2025, with bid opening scheduled for January 16, 2025. To participate, bidders must provide an earnest money deposit of ₹1.31 million and ensure a minimum annual turnover and past project completion criteria. The estimated project cost is ₹130.8 million. The selected bidder will be responsible for the complete execution of the project, including design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance for a ten-year period. Additionally, they are mandated to establish a power evacuation setup within Karnataka Power Corporation’s (KPCL) Bellary premises, connecting the solar project to the KPCL thermal station. To be eligible, bidders must have prior experience in similar solar and hydrogen projects and must meet specific criteria related to project completion and technological expertise. This initiative by KREDL aligns with the Indian government's push towards renewable energy and green hydrogen solutions.
