Waaree Group has initiated the construction of a state-of-the-art Alkaline Electrolyser Manufacturing Facility in Valsad, Gujarat, with an initial capacity of 300 MW. This facility is a strategic move to bolster India's green energy efforts by producing high-quality electrolysers for green hydrogen generation. The plant's focus on industries such as steel, refining, transportation, fertilisers, and power is in line with India's National Green Hydrogen Mission. Waaree's objective is to decrease dependency on imports and enhance India's contribution to global green hydrogen production, including green ammonia and e-fuels. Anuj Sharma, the CEO of Waaree Clean Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd, emphasized the significance of this facility in driving India towards self-sufficiency in green hydrogen technologies. He expressed the company's commitment to spearheading the nation's clean energy revolution, fostering job creation, and paving the way for a sustainable future. Additionally, Waaree has secured government incentives through the SIGHT scheme, further solidifying its support for India's clean energy leadership.
