In a recent statement by Cabinet Spokesman Counselor Mohamed al-Homosany of Egypt, it was highlighted that Egypt and the European Union share a common goal of achieving stability in the Middle East region. The spokesman emphasized the strategic ties between Egypt and the EU and mentioned the recent meeting between Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and EU Commissioner Dubravka Šuica to follow up on the implementation of the EU-Egypt Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership signed in 2024. Notably, Egypt has signed agreements with the EU in the field of renewable energy, especially in green hydrogen. This partnership allows Egypt to produce renewable energy and export it to European countries, aligning with the EU's increasing demand for green hydrogen. Egypt is actively working to attract investors in the renewable energy sector, leveraging its capabilities to become a hub for green energy production. The country is also focused on diversifying its energy sources by gradually increasing its renewable energy capacity.
