Godrej Enterprises Group's Process Equipment business has announced a ₹200 crore investment to expand its manufacturing facility in Dahej, Gujarat, demonstrating a commitment to clean energy solutions. The expansion aims to increase annual manufacturing capacity, develop new manufacturing capabilities for clean energy projects like hydrogen, nuclear, and geothermal energy, and align with India's Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives. The company's strategic investment supports India's National Green Hydrogen Mission and the Union Budget's allocation for clean energy projects. The expanded facility will feature advanced manufacturing capabilities, including a Dust-free Enclosure for exotic materials, dedicated bays for Internals manufacturing, and an Extended Fabrication Yard. Additionally, sustainability practices like Zero Waste to Landfill certification and Industry 4.0 technologies will enhance operational efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
